Freezing rain continues moving across the Miami Valley.
We have increased the expected ice totals to 1/10″ - 1/4″ across much of the region. Further north, totals over 1/4″ are possible.
The National Weather Service (NWS) says we could have additional ice accumulations around a light glaze.
Ice will also accumulate on trees and power lines and could lead to sporadic power outages overnight.
We could see slippery sidewalks, roads, and bridges, according to the NWS.
Don’t be surprised to hear thunder.
Some instability will also lead to the chance of thunderstorms. No severe storms are expected.
