However, from our standpoint, Frisch’s Big Boy has a place in all of our hearts in Ohio.
Over the past 80 years there have been several Big Boy affiliated chains across America. They range from Bob’s to Elias to Shoney’s among many others. Through all of the decades there are basically only two chains that still exist, Bob’s Big Boy and Frisch’s. They invented the Big Boy sandwich. If it wasn’t for the Big Boy, there would be no Big Mac.
So, we don’t want to see this chain disappear. They are a historical institution, so support the locations that are open in your area!
