What about the Coke and Peanuts?

The new drink blends the traditional Coke flavor with raspberry and spiced flavors and will be available in full sugar and zero-sugar varieties, the company announced.

I remember an old thing they used to do in the south, putting whole roasted peanuts into their Coke.

Now I am seeing people talk about this again on social media.

I have to be honest, I’ve never tried it before, but here’s the tricks to maximize your experience:

1) It has to be regular Coke. Not diet or Coke Zero. Old fashioned sugar coke.

2) It tastes better in the glass bottles. Not sure why, maybe it’s about the shape?

3) The Coke needs to be ice cold.

People “in the know” say the peanuts soak in the flavors from the soda and the peanuts and salt enhance and define the complex flavors that go into a coke.

Is this something that sound delicious? YES. Why haven’t I tried it before?
