Scam Alert: Fake Red Cross sites are out there

Today I typed in a what I thought was a Red Cross site to find out about Hurricane Helene relief and was redirected to a scam.

Make sure you get to the right place if you’re making a relief donation.

The easiest thing is to type Red Cross at google.com or go directly to redcross.org.

In addition, the Red Cross has set up a specific Hurricane Helene donation page:
