A pair of iconic red shoes worn by Judy Garland in the movie ‘The Wizard of Oz’ were recently auctioned off for $32.5 million (with commission). 

The slippers were stolen in 2005 and recovered. 

Interest has surged in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ following the success of the musical movie “Wicked.”
