Friday June 26th Blue Oyster Cult posted to their Facebook page about their forthcoming album.
The album named “The Symbol Remains” will be released in October.
Their most recent studio album, “The Curse Of The Hidden Mirror” was released in 2001.
Which is what I imagine prompted the band in it’s announcement to mention the old saying “Good things come to those who wait”.
“The Symbol Remains” will feature 14 new tracks.
The album was recorded by the bands current Line-up: Eric Bloom, Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser, Richie Castellano, Danny Miranda and Jules Radino.
Having had the opportunity to open for BOC a couple times with my band over the last few years I have to say, this is an extremely powerful line up.
