McDonald's announces a big deal for collectors in October

I follow a great nostalgia “historian” named DinosaurDracula. If you haven’t seen his website, it’s a blast from the past into your childhood. If you love old movies, horror, TV, food items from the 80′s and 90′s, he’s the guy. Be careful, his site could take you down a rabbit hole that could take hours away from you. We know people who listen to this station are a perfect match for his content!

One thing I’ve learned from following his site is that October, Halloween, and Mcdonald’s Trick or Treat buckets have a special place in his heart. Here’s a story from his site about the 1992 Halloween pail releases.

Well, this year McDonald’s announces the 2024 version of the famed Halloween Trick or Treat pails.

The 2024 “Boo Buckets” will be available starting October 15 while supplies last. It will be included in the price of a Happy Meal. This year, the Boo Buckets come in four colors: orange, green, white and blue. Blue is a new design for this year. The monster in your dreams is included for free.

So to summarize, what do you call these things? Are they “buckets” or “pails?”
