Local fast food chain wins huge national award

Skyline Chili, a local fast-food institution has won a huge national award.

They’ve been awarded the Best Regional Fast Food in the United States for 2024, according to a USA Today study.

The chain was founded in Cincinnati in 1949 by Greek immigrant Nicholas Lambrinides and now has over 150 locations. Their special chili recipe is greek inflenced with cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Locals eat the chili over spaghetti compared to other chilis that are eaten alone.

This makes total sense. When people come to visit the area, one of the first things they want to eat is Skyline. It’s that special. People love to try it for the first time and see what all the hype is about. I am personally Greek and can attest that it has a similar taste to my grandmothers Pastitsio.

What’s even cooler is that national darling burger joint In-N-Out Burger was #8 on the list. We beat In-N-Out?

Congratulations and enjoy some Skyline today.
