Go Go’s fans are anxiously awaiting the debut of a new band documentary this weekend on Showtime. According to Sho.com, The Go Go’s is airing Friday night at 9PM (7/31), Saturday night at 7:20PM (8/1), then Sunday at 8PM (8/2) on Showtime 2.

The documentary shows their late 70′s punk roots and follows their evolution into chart topping pop stars in the 80s. In a statement, the band said ““We lived it and we survived it. Looking back on our history through this film, we get to relive our journey as a band: the fun, the adventure, the highs and the lows. We hope this documentary will show the world that we were pioneers, and how our experience paved the way for many other female (and some male) musicians.”

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the band was preparing for a 2020 reunion tour but that has been postponed. For the time being, Go Go’s fans can sink their teeth into a new single called “Club Zero.” It’s the first new music from the band in 19 years.

There’s no video for the track yet but you can check out the song below.
