Does everyone agree how hard it is to shop for people?

I always have a difficult time trying to pick out holiday gifts for people. It’s so hard to get it right. Was this always a problem in our society, or something more recent in the past 20 years? We’ll if you feel like I do, you’re not alone.

A new survey by DHL reveals that 50% of people receive unwanted holiday gifts.

Other findings:

  • 33% of consumers opt to regift unwanted presents,
  • 18% sell them to others.
  • 11% of people return unwanted gifts to stores
  • 7% of people return them online
  • 7% of people return unwanted gifts to the sender. (!)

Did I read that right?

Return gifts to the sender? Who would do that? Do people really do that?
