Cassano’s Pizza King is a local Dayton institution. There’s no doubt that they were one of the pioneers of what folks’ call “Dayton Style Pizza.”
When I first moved to the area, I was shocked when the pizza crust was that thin, but after my first unique taste I was hooked.
Now they’ve just received a huge award in the restaurant space.
Cassano’s Pizza King was inducted into the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance Hall of Fame
They were named this week for its “lasting impact on the state’s food scene and more than 25 years of service to Ohio’s hospitality community.”
