9 things you need to know about Labor Day Weekend

1) Triple A says roads will be busy this weekend with holiday travelers, but gas prices are decent. National gas prices are averaging $3.36 a gallon, the lowest since March.

2) Big show tonight. Our sister station New Country K99.1FM’s “Big Country Blast” with Brantley Gilbert at Fraze Pavilion. That place is going to be rockin!

3) Saturday, the “Country Legends Festival” is in West Liberty starring Tracy Lawrence, Diamond Rio, Chris Cagle and Blackhawk. A time warp to the 90′s!

4) Alter Fest throughout the weekend. Rides and Games all Weekend! The event takes place at Alter High School in Kettering.

5) Labor Day Family Value Weekend at Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs. Take advantage of a special Family Value wristband good for all day, unlimited family fun at Young’s Jersey Dairy. 6) Saturday is Tippapalooza in downtown Tipp City --annual music festival featuring local artists, food trucks and drinks----Britt/Nikki will be there! 😉

7) Waynesville Fly-in —Planes will be flying over Waynesville this weekend, with an airshow Saturday evening and a Fly-in on Sunday.

8) The Ohio Renaissance Festival kicks off this week thru Labor Day. Season passes are sold out, but daily passes are still available. Check their website for ticket information.

9) Kettering’s Holiday at Home Sunday and Monday---Larry Hansgen and Jason Roberts from The Eagle will be in the parade. Also attending on the float is Gary Sandy who played “Andy Travis” from WKRP in Cincinnati. Gary is from Dayton.
